This small island is about an hour North of Gothenburg on the West Coast of Sweden. It’s perfect for a day trip away from the city and is amazing to hike around. I felt that Marstrand was quite enchanting, with the gorgeous Swedish villas and even its own fortress, namely Carlstens Fästning.
